US customers: important cost warning

Substantial extra charges may be payable before delivery. US import duties, taxes and DHL/carrier clearance fees are NOT included in your order total or shipping fee, unless explicitly collected at checkout. You must pay any unpaid import charges directly to the carrier. The final amount is determined by customs and the carrier and may be much higher than expected.

Refusing delivery or refusing to pay these charges does NOT mean a full refund. If the parcel is returned because of refusal, unpaid charges or unanswered carrier/customs requests, you agree to cover the actual costs incurred, to the extent permitted by law: original shipping, a second shipping charge for the return journey, customs clearance and handling. Expected return-related charges include €52 for customs handling alone, plus €20 handling, in addition to shipping costs.

These costs can use up most or all of your payment, leaving little or nothing to refund. Any deduction will be based on the actual costs incurred. Please consider this carefully before placing your order.

This does not apply to returns caused by an error by Monolith Shop GmbH and does not affect your statutory rights.
